Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To review credit assessments, presentations and reports for specified work streams; Working Capital and Real Estate (WCR)/Non-Working Capital (NWC) and control portfolios to ensure compliance with agreed risk infrastructure
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Credit Review and Approval
- Review credit assessment and appraisal notes and approve or make further recommendations to approving authorities, whilst ensuring credit policies and procedures are adhered in order to book quality deals and minimise loan losses for the bank
Portfolio Management (Applicable for Working Capital and Real Estate)
- Monitor and control portfolios by analysing portfolio composition, risk recognition, account strategy, identification of early warning signals to ensure credit quality
Market Assessment (Applicable for Working Capital and Real Estate)
- Assist and advise business units on client and market assessment and propose corrective actions in order to finalise credit applications
Process Improvement
- Provide input to line management relating to financial spreading and bank statement analysis to support enhancement/customisation of Moody’s risk analyst/software applications/tools
People Management
- Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
Skills
Minimum Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in Credit Risk or Credit Policy with at least 3 years of experience in managing a credit risk team
- For Non-Working Capital products Retail Banking experience would suffice
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree
