Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To develop and manage the Commercial Banking assets products proposition to support targeted business growth in line with the business strategy and plan

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Product Management and Development


Develop and manage differentiating assets products portfolio and propose and implement strategies in order to address customer needs and capture market opportunities resulting in customer acquisition, activation, client experience and retention and maximizing product cross sell

2. Research and Data Gathering
Build market intelligence, conduct research and gather information using multiple sources of information to monitor market sizing, competitive landscape, customer segmentation and market opportunities
3. Portfolio Management
Review, monitor and control credit products portfolio to ensure credit quality; portfolio composition; risk recognition; accounts strategy and industry intelligence are aligned with the bank’s risk strategy and market conditions . Ensure portfolio reporting and MIS/ reports as per management requirements
4. People Management

Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance

Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems

5. Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures

Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders

6. Continuous Improvement
Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the bank’s standards
7. Customer Service
Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

Skills

Minimum Experience
At least 5 years of experience in Banking / Financial Services
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or relevant specialisation
