JOB PURPOSE
To develop, roll-out and manage complex cash management product propositions in order to support the targeted business growth in line with the business strategy and plan
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Product Development and Management:
Translate the strategy and plans shared by line manager into the product value proposition by developing and managing a differentiating and complex cash management products portfolio which addresses customer needs and captures market opportunities
Propose and implement strategies that enhance product cross-selling opportunities in order to increase customer acquisition, activation and retention
Research and Data Gathering
Build market intelligence, conduct research and gather information using multiple sources to monitor market sizing, competitive landscape, customer segmentation and market opportunities in order to provide accurate and reliable info/data that enable decision making
Portfolio Management
Review, monitor and control a complex cash management products portfolio to ensure portfolio quality, portfolio composition, risk recognition, accounts strategy and industry intelligence are aligned with the bank’s risk strategy and market conditions
Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures
Create and implement the required policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of the business area’s activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements and standards are fulfilled
Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
Self-Management
Manage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to contribute to organisational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment
Customer Service
Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
Skills
Minimum Experience: At least 8 years of experience in banking/financial services with experience in product management role
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant specialization
Professional Qualifications: CPM or equivalent
