Job Description
To manage the user acceptance testing (UAT) environment/testing tools, monitor UAT environment performance, security and infrastructure stability and provide assistance/guidance on UAT requests to ensure successful and effective test execution
1.UAT Environment Requests
Manage user acceptance testing environment inventory on par with production environments to ensure adequate environments are available and can be allocated for testing requirements
Access the UAT Management system to review/monitor environment request and allocated dates to ensure agreed SLAs for environment allocation are achieved as per standard operating procedures
Understand and analyse all test environment pre-requisites and determine if these can be met prior to test allocation to ensure successful test runs
Provide guidance to project/testing teams on testing approach and provide assistance on test data/user credential requirements and test planning in order to achieve successful test execution runs
2.UAT Environment Management
Monitor UAT environment performance, security and infrastructure stability and take measurements to address any shortcomings in order to prevent any adverse effect on test executions
Oversee periodic data refreshes and security reviews on UAT databases and servers in order to minimise risks
Oversee the creation of ‘end of day’ run calendars and monitor their execution to ensure successful text execution runs with minimum disruption to ongoing testing activities
Present comprehensive dashboards to senior management in order to provide a view on environment allocations and ongoing testing activities
3.Testing Tool Management
Engage with external vendor(s) to discuss hardware requirements and review improvements which can be introduced in order to enhance the testing tool user experience
Procure, administer and manage license distribution/allocation to ensure the test environment is fully operational at all times
Review infrastructure periodically to ensure performance of the tool is meeting with user expectations
4.People Management
Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems

Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
6.Continuous Improvement
Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the bank’s standards
7.Customer Service
Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
Skills
Minimum Experience
At least 8 - 10 years of experience in banking or financial services in information technology of which 6 - 8 years of experience in supporting/managing test environments with knowledge in one or more programming languages and databases
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field
Professional Qualifications
ITIL certification
