Description

1.

Agency Portfolio Management

Manage the agency portfolio team in the execution of agency portfolio transactions where ADCB act as Facility Agent, Security Agent, Account Bank and handle complex cases/transactions to ensure successful completion of client transactions in line with ADCB standards and guidelines

Oversee the distribution of relevant information to

borrowers and participants to ensure compliance with ADCB policies, procedures and guidelines

Take the lead in reviews and negotiations with borrowers, lenders, external and internal counsel to ensure agreements can be implemented in adherence to ADCB standards and guidelines and to maximise operational efficiency

Participate in the delivery of new business pitches, review loan documentation for new business transactions in order to provide feedback from an operational perspective and support final approval/sign off of the transaction

Relationship Management

Manage and maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure agency transactions are processed in line with agreed service levels and standards

Risk Management

Implement risk control self-assessment (RCSA) process and complete reviews to ensure accurate and reliable reporting

Develop key risk indicators and establish a monthly analysis and reporting process in order to assess performance against plans

4.

Management Information and Reporting

Submit portfolio data reports and information on weekly/monthly basis to evidence consistency and compliance with ADCB policies

Provide information/reports and liaise with external and internal auditors in order to satisfy any audit requirements

People Management

Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance

Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems

Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures

Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders

Continuous Improvement

Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the bank’s standards

Customer Service

Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

Minimum Experience

At least 8 years of experience working in an Agency/operational environment with a detailed understanding of the full workflow/all processes related to the day-to-day Agency operations, knowledge of reviewing and negotiating legal documentation based on LMA standards and experience in dealing with/managing external and internal client relationships

At least 5 years of management experience

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance/Commerce
