1. |
Strategy and Plans |
Contribute to the implementation of the Transaction Banking strategy in accordance with the banks 10x25 and digital and non-digital agendas within Wholesale Banking group
Translate the strategy into operational business plans for the short, medium and long term within the Transaction Banking suit of products and services across cash and trade businesses
Lead discussions in the Transaction Banking Steer Committee and actively represent Transaction Banking Investment requirements for WBG clients at the CEX committee, manage the development, deployment, implementation and profitability for the products and services across the Transaction Banking suite to ensure delivered in line with agreed strategy and plans

|
Manage employees and teams by overseeing their performance management, recruitment, learning and development to ensure high levels of engagement, and competence, a motivated work environment and to maximise employee contribution to business performance |

Change Management
|
Drive the management of change in the business area through direct reports and teams by providing inputs for, and partaking in change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment |

Financial |
Recommend and manage the budget for the business area and monitor financial performance so that the business is aware of anticipated costs and revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance and improvement opportunities are identified and addressed to ensure the budget is managed in line with requirements |
5. |
Product Management |
Manage the design, development and pitching of ADCB’s Transaction Banking products based on continuous innovation, in collaboration with all other relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to provide wholesale customers with the most appropriate services and to drive cross selling opportunities and maximise customer share of wallet
Manage Transaction Banking product launches and provide the necessary support in order to effectively create product awareness |
6. |
Continuous Improvement |
Contribute to WBG initiatives such as WBG portal, CRM, , moving clients out from manual to electronic transactions, driving WBG costs out of branches etc. in order to provide the necessary support and inputs relevant to cash management to take informed decisions |
7. |
Customer Service |
Manage and oversee the implementation and client service team for Transaction Banking services, and their collaboration with other teams, in order to ensure that the client solutions are implemented and serviced properly
Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions, accountable for team eNPS, and FFL / NPS score evolution across WBG franchise for Transaction Banking capabilities |
8. |
Reporting |
Review all reports related to new products, sales revenue, customer satisfaction reports, other management reports and dash-boards in order to track the results against the objectives as well as to ensure its comprehensiveness, accuracy and compliance to policies and standards |
9. |
Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures |
Develop and oversee the creation and implementation of the required policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of the business area’s activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements and standards are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation whilst safeguarding the bank |
Skills
Minimum Experience |
At least 12 years of experience in banking or financial sector; including at least 8 years of cash management experience and 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role |
Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting |
Professional Qualifications |
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), CPA or CFA |
Knowledge and Skills |
Extensive Transaction Banking product knowledge in the market Selling and negotiation skills Strategic thinking / thought leadership |
